The Cornwall Mother and Baby show a huge hit all in aid of Tommys baby charity raising £850
The Cornwall Mother and Baby Show held at Retallack Resort and Spa near Wadebridge.
Retallack Resort and Spa hosted the first Mother and Baby show in aid of Tommy's baby charity on Friday the 2nd September. With a host of spectacular exhibitors from top national brands including joules and Osborne books, to the very best of local businesses with little treasures showing off their beautiful hand crafted jeweller to name but a few.
The day saw great attendance with huge support from mums to be and families with older children from all around the county coming to shop, relax, get advice and support this great charity. As well the chance to spoil yourself and the little ones, the show offered the opportunity to shop for everything you may need from pregnancy to birth and beyond.
The bright and sunny afternoon was enjoyed by all with face painting, toddler ball games, charity FlowRiding, The Cornwall fire brigade and the wonderful twinkle tots a great session that incorporates nursery rhymes, music and dance for parents and little ones and is held every Friday at Retallack parent and baby morning run by Nicky Barnes. The very popular and fast becoming the must have jewellery company Disco Beads were helping make your very own piece of custom jewellery to take away with you.
The phenomenal raffle with prizes donated from Rick Steins, Joules, Frugi organic baby clothing, photo shoots from the Star Lens as well as a whole selection of amazing prizes within Cornwall, helped to raise a great amount of £735.00 for the extremely worthwhile charity Tommy's who's time and efforts help thousands of families through difficult pregnancy's and so much more.
