Travelling with the teens can sometimes be tricky; trying to find things to keep them amused at the same time as you having a relaxing holiday. We think that we have the perfect solution at Retallack Resort and Spa.
With all of our onsite facilities, Retallack Resort & Spa has a huge amount for teens, without even venturing away from the resort. With our Teen hang out area, with pool table, air hockey, computer games and the latest X-Boxes. The Loop, with the FlowRider is a teen haven - great if you just want to watch the action on the FlowRider or to take part in a session. Retallack Resort opened the UKs first FlowRider in April 2010 and therefore this is an activity to make any teens holiday unforgettable!
In Summer holidays 2010, we launch our teen Loop Academy. This is a 5 day schedule of amazing activities focused on age 13+, including Surf School, beach photography course, including photo editing tuition at Retallack Resort using the latest Apple Mac technology, Half Day Coasteering and much more.
No more huffing and puffing about being bored, Retallack Resort will give your teens so many options for fun filled days that you will all feel like you have had a wonderful holiday. Holidaying with teenagers has never been so easy!

FlowRiding and Street Surfing
A chance to learn some skills and tricks on the resort FlowRider® and have a go with the waveboard – a combination of snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing.
Meet at 9.00am at the FlowRider® building
Finish at approx. 12.00pm
Coasteering
You will be taken down to Lusty Glaze beach where you will be taken out on an exhilarating coasteering adventure around the Bay of Newquay. It will involve swimming, climbing and exploring the different caves, rocks and cliffs which will be surrounding you.
All participants must be able to swim 75 metres in open water and must wear trainers with a good grip which can get wet.
Meet at 9.00am at the FlowRider® building
Return to Retallack at approx. 1.30pm
(Due to tide times, on the 2nd, 9th and 23rd of August Coasteering will begin at 1.00pm instead of 9.00am).
*Note: There will be no coasteering session on Monday 12th July it will be on Tuesday 13th July at 3.30pm instead.
Surf Tuition
A surf tuition session with a qualified instructor at Watergate Bay, whether you’re a complete beginner or just want to improve your surfing skills, this session is suited for everyone.
Meet at 8.30am at the FlowRider® building
Return to Retallack at approx. 1.00pm
*Note: There will be no surf tuition on Thuesday 13th July it will be on Monday 12th July at 8.30am instead.
Photography
Learn tips and techniques from a professional photographer. You will start at the resort by learning the basics, you will then head off down to the beach to take some coastal photographs and finish up by coming back to our editing suites to use Apple Mac Computers to create your very own disc of photographs.

Finish at approx. 5.00pm
Adrenaline Day
A session which will be sure to get your adrenaline pumping! You will go down to Lusty Glaze Beach where you will have a go one of Europe’s longest, highest and fastest zip wires, as well as doing a high wire walk and having a Banana Boat ride.
Meet at 9.00am at the FlowRider® building
Return to Retallack at approx. 1.30pm
A parent or guardian will need to sign a disclaimer in advance before any of the activities can take place.
Minimum numbers apply.
If any activities need to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances you will be given a minimum of 24 hours notice.
Suitable clothing to be worn for all activities (long sleeved top, trousers and waterproof coat for coasteering and adrenalin day).
