Where is Retallack Resort and Spa?
Retallack Resort & Spa is located just off the A39 between Wadebridge and Newquay. It is 6 miles inland from Padstow.

Is Retallack Resort on the coast?
Retallack Resort and Spa is 5 miles inland. It takes approximately 10 minutes in the car to reach our closest beach. We have approximately 9 beaches within 15 minute drive from the resort.

What is a FlowRider?
A FlowRider is essentially a man made wave, which you can body board and surf on. The structure of the ride is a thick plastic stretched over the frame and therefore it has a trampoline type feel to it when you stand on it, therefore it is very flexible and creates a soft surface for the water to jet out over.
Flowboarding was started by surfers, but the new sport we have developed takes in aspects of all the board sports. Flowboarding is skateboarding without the wheels (and the road rash), surfing without a fin, snowboarding without the mountain, wakeboarding without the boat and skimboarding without the sand.
The FlowRider is a great activity – suitable for 132cm minimum height. We do run body boarding sessions during school holidays for kids age 7+ aswell.

What is there for kids to do?
We have an indoor pool with baby pool, Shipwreck Island playground, tennis courts, pitch and putt golf course, soft play areas and our resort FlowRider. We have weekday parent and baby classes during term time and during the school holidays, we have a great schedule of kids activities running throughout the week for age 4+.

Do children have to be supervised in the pool?
Yes, all children under 16 must be supervised in the pool apart from during school holidays, where we have a lifeguard daily from 5-6pm where children over 12 can swim without parental guidance.

Do you have a spa?
We have two Decleor treatment rooms without our health club, offering a full range of relaxation and maintenance treatments. We also have a sauna and steam room at the resort.

Do I have to pay for activities at the time of booking?
All kids academy bookings need to be paid at the time of booking or placed on your room bill. We have limited spaces and therefore really encourage that you make your reservation at your earliest convenience. Bookings for kids academy are non refundable.

Your house is fully equipped with bedding, bath towels, kitchen and BBQ utensils and all of the comforts of home.

Do houses have WIFI?
All houses have internet access. Our Fistral and Polzeath properties all have wireless access, our other lodges have wired internet access. A Ethernet cable can be borrowed from reception and you can purchase an access code in order to use the internet for the duration of your stay.

Can we bring our own DVDs?
All houses have DVD players, we have a selection of DVDs that you are welcome to borrow or you can bring a selection from home.

Is there parking near our accommodation?
Each house has it’s own parking directly outside the house. The majority of our houses have ample parking for 2 cars.

Are dogs allowed in the houses?
The majority of our houses are dog-friendly and we very much welcome them. We do have a few houses which are completely dog free in case a member of your party has an allergy. We also allow dogs on the deck areas outside of our restaurant and bar, but unfortunately due to health and safety restrictions, only guide dogs are allowed to enter the health club, indoor bar and restaurant buildings. There is a £40 fee per week to bring your dog on holiday to Retallack Resort. We are a family resort and therefore we are un able to accept certain breeds of dog at the resort, please ask for further details on booking.
