In the school Easter Holidays we will be running two supervised sessions a day between 9am-12.30pm and 1.30pm – 5pm for £10 per child with a full schedule of fun activities including cookery classes, Easter egg hunts and zumba dance classes. For teenagers our Sports Academy will be hosting amazing activities from the ultimate Flow Riding and body boarding to Football. Families can also take advantage of our new Movie Nights – offering supervised childcare (2yrs+) for a few hours in the evening so you can enjoy a delicious dinner at The Green Room by James Nathan. This year we are working with the Newquay Activity Centre to offer at an additional cost,The Fistral Beach Surf Ranger activities, which are aimed at children aged 8-14 years old and are held on the nearby popular beaches of the North Cornish coast, a short distance from Retallack. This brand new energy enthused concept aims to help children get the absolute most from the beach and coastal environment in a fun, active, safe and educational way. Children will spend the afternoons constructing a giant SOS sign in the sand, fishing through rock pools looking for crabs, foraging for food and cooking over camp fires, all with the encouragement and barrage of banter from Karl Fice-Thomson of the Newquay Activity Centre – the kids will love it! Each group learns waterperson skills that include aspects of lifeguarding, rock pool investigation, body boarding, surfing, coasteering and the ocean environment.
