Dog Friendly 5 star lodges in Cornwall
Retallack Resort & Spa is unique as a dog friendly resort, with 5 star self-catering accommodation . We recognise that your dogs are part of your family and we are happy to accept dogs of all shapes and sizes. On arrival you will find a canine package comprising of tempting doggy chews, a water/food bowl and a pack of disposable doggy bags.
We have large grounds to exercise your dogs in but the main attractions of the area are the wonderful dog-friendly beaches and coastpath which are within a few miles drive from the resort.
There is a small supplementary charge of £40 per dog up to a maximum of 2 dogs per lodge.
In the interests of all our valued guests we kindly request that all dog owners follow a simple code of conduct while staying at Retallack Resort & Spa:
Please....
- Tell us at time of booking, or in advance of your arrival, if you plan to bring your dog and which breed the dog is.
- Provide your own dog bedding and covers
- Keep your dog on a lead at all times while in the Resort grounds
- Ensure you dispose of ‘doggy poop’ in a responsible manner, using the bins provided around the resort
- Avoid bringing wet & muddy dogs into the lodges (see below for local dog groomers if required)
- Do not leave dogs unattended in lodges for long periods of time, or while off – site
- Not everyone loves dogs – please respect the feelings of other guests while enjoying our resort with your dog
- Unfortunately, there are a few breeds of dog which we are unable to welcome to our Resort (American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasileiro, Doga Argentino, Alsations, Dobermans and Rottweilers even where these types of dog are muzzled as required by law)
- Retallack Resort reserves the right to charge for any damage caused by your pet during your stay
Please note that dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) are not allowed in the leisure building (Spa Bar & pool).
