Hmmm. That’s a tasty Burger. Have you tried the best burgers in Cornwall?

We all love a burger. Whether that’s just your plain simple yet scrummy burger, or if you like to add cheese, bacon, onions, salad, or something a little stranger everyone loves a tasty burger.  But there is nothing worse than ordering a burger and receiving a limp tiny burger in a soggy bun and some stale lettuce on top. No thanks!!

 

At The Loop Restaurant we pride ourselves on our burgers. From day one we have always aimed to give you a burger but with style. With fresh burgers made on site with the best mince we then add our secret ingredients to create a tasty patty, flame grill and put it in a fresh floured bun add crispy lettuce, tomatoes a little mayo and there you have our great signature burger.  

This was lunch today……….I’ve added bacon, cheese, onion rings, ketchup and red onions to this beauty of a burger. Exercise & Type II Diabetes

With an increasing prevalence of obesity and unhealthy lifestyles the incidence of type II diabetes has increased dramatically, even predicted to reach epidemic proportions over the next decade.

Along with diabetes, patients can develop many unwanted cardiovascular complications.

Healthy seasonal dessert recipe!

Ingredients
4 medium Bramley apples , each weighing about 200g/8oz
4 tbsp clear honey
½ tsp ground cinnamon
finely grated zest and juice of 1 large orange
250g blackberries

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/gas 4/fan 160C. Core the apples so you have a hole the size of a pound coin in each one. Make a cut just into the skin around the middle of each apple.
2. Stand the apples in a shallow baking dish large enough to take all four. Mix together the honey, cinnamon and orange zest, put an equal amount into the cavity of each apple, then pour the orange juice into the dish.
3. Roast the apples for about 40 minutes, spooning the juices over them occasionally. Then, when the apples are almost ready, spoon the blackberries around and over the top of each apple. Return to the oven for 10 minutes or until the juices start to run. Spoon the blackberries and juices over the apples to serve.

New Personal Trainer

Some of you may have seen me around but if not then i am the new person in the Leisure Club and im called Chris.

I have worked in this Industry for 4 years now and in several gyms before here. My main role here at the Retallack will be Inductions, Personal Training and carrying out my my circuit training class on a Friday Night and some Sundays, with more classes coming soon. I have plenty of experience in the fitness industry including making programs for anything from fat loss to muscle gain or even injury rehabilitation. If you have any questions please just ask, wether that be a simple training or diet tip or a full program feel free to ask whenever
