Retallack Resort & Spa is a family owned company, it is owned and run by the Tucker Brown family; a company owned by a family,for families!
Nicholas Tucker Brown, the company Chairman is a respected surveyor and builder. He has dedicated his life to development with both Retallack Resort & Spa and Queenwood Group which is an innovative homes development company. Nicholas Tucker Brown, who has unrivalled reputation masterminding the development of landmark projects such as the County Hall apartments in the capital's Westminster and the revitalising of the stunning Hoover Building on the western approach to London. In 2006, Nick purchased the land on which Retallack Resort now stands, a huge development which he could see massive potential for.
The Tucker Brown’s vision for Retallack Resort was to build a wonderful resort of 5 star luxury with the comforts of home, but the facilities of a hotel and since 2006 this is what they have strived to create, developing the land which had just 5 houses on it, to the resort which you see today with over 100 houses and still growing.
In order to bring this vision alive, Amy Tucker Brown, Nick’s daughter, an interior designer by trade and her husband Jason Keyter, an ex Harlequins Rugby professional, moved to Cornwall and began to make the dream a reality. Amy and Jason have tirelessly worked, designing and building the resort, not just in the actual construction, but also in creating an atmosphere where you feel relaxed and can have a holiday to remember.
The family continue to make this vision into a reality, constantly stretching the limits of hospitality in order to make a truly unique product, for all to enjoy. You will see the family around the site – Amy and Jason with their son Jago, Mrs Tucker Brown is often checking that the flowers are looking at their best and helping Amy with the design work and Marcus, our Managing Director (Nick’s son in law) is a big fan of the FlowRider!
The business continues to grow, but it will always be a resort for families, built by a family.
